YOW! Diversity Scholarships
Have you ever looked around at a tech conference and felt like no one there looked like you, shared your background, or your experiences?
You’re not alone—and you may be part of a group that’s historically underrepresented in tech. At YOW!, we’re committed to changing that.
To help make our events more inclusive and welcoming, we offer Diversity Scholarships to support people from underrepresented communities who would otherwise face barriers to attending. These scholarships are made possible thanks to the generous support of Liz Fong-Jones, one of our speakers, and her company, Honeycomb.io.
What the scholarship includes
Diversity Scholarships provide free admission to a designated YOW! conference.
Recipients participate like any other attendee—we do not publicly identify scholarship recipients.
Your application will be treated with complete confidentiality and reviewed solely for the purpose of allocating scholarships. Preference is given to applicants who are already working in tech and would find it financially difficult to attend without support.
- Scholarships are only valid for the specific YOW! event listed in your application.
- Tickets are limited, non-transferable, and cannot be resold.
- You may only receive one scholarship per calendar year.
